Las Nubes Food Outreach

Maya-Mesoamerica Mission is preparing meals and distributing them twice a week at the village of Las Nubes, in the department of Quetzaltenango. The area around Las Nubes was hard hit by mudslides during Hurricane Stan and there was significant damage to the crops in the region. Most of the people who live at Las Nubes are subsistence farmers or work for a landowner for a few dollars a day. Las Nubes Christian Church is hosting the outreach welcoming the entire community. On Sunday, October 23, two people invited Jesus Christ into their heart to be their Savior and Lord before the meal!
