An Update from David Doss: Continued Work in Guatemala and Mexico
Last week I, (David), was at the frontier of Mexico and Guatemala. Mario, one of our Guatemalan pastors, was meeting me to receive an offering that had been given by
some folks in the U.S. and Northern Ireland to help him with surgery and related travel
expenses for his son, Roberto.
Roberto’s right eye was seriously injured in an accident. Mario told me that the doctor says Roberto will end up with about ten percent vision in the affected eye. When I gave Mario the money that had been given for him he wept! Needless to say, I was humbled.
While at the frontier I took several short videos of the Samala River which separates Guatemala and Mexico, and the train depot at Arriaga, Mexico. These are two locations where women and girls are at high risk of being targets of human trafficking.
To view the clips go to www.youtube.com/dossdave. There are several different short videos titled Northbound Train and Samala Passage.
Pressing On,
