Xolcaja Baptism

March, 2007

Go to the people of all nations and make them my disciples. Baptize them in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, and teach them to do everything I have told you. I will be with you always, even until the end of the world.

Efrain Baeza, a Mexican pastor, shared the gospel with a group from the Xolcaja School in March, 2004. That was our first outreach to people in rural Guatemala.   We have had a continuous presence since then and recently we baptized seven teens from Xolcaja Christian Church in a stream near the village.  Over 150 people from the surrounding village trekked down that jungle trail to witness what these “Christians” were doing.  Wow, what a blessing and what a witness it was!
